Wood Preserving
Pressure Treated Posts and Rails.
Our pressure-treated posts are manufactured using the Wolmanized® Heavy Duty™ CCA (Chromated Copper Arsenate) pressure-treatment process, one of the most proven and reliable wood preservation systems available. This treatment has been trusted for decades in demanding agricultural, ranching, utility, and commercial applications because of its exceptional durability and long service life.

During the pressure-treating process, posts are placed inside a sealed treatment cylinder where a vacuum removes air from the wood cells. A preservative solution containing chromium, copper, and arsenic is then forced deep into the wood under high pressure. Once the treatment is complete, the preservatives chemically bond, or "fix," within the wood fibers, creating long-lasting protection against decay, fungal deterioration, termites, and other wood-destroying insects. Unlike surface treatments, this process penetrates deep into the wood to provide protection throughout the post, making it ideal for ground-contact applications and harsh outdoor environments.

Pressure-treated posts are an excellent choice for livestock fencing, ranch and farm fencing, vineyards, orchards and utility applications. They are specifically designed to withstand years of exposure to moisture, soil, and changing weather conditions while requiring less maintenance and offering a significantly longer service life than untreated wood.
